Atlanta Business Chronicle Names “40 Under 40″ – Up and Comers!

Future leaders help transform industry, community.  Every year the Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) searches for the most driven, successful and influential professionals under the age of 40—who have also distinguished themselves as rising leaders in the local community. 

 

We received more than 170 nominations for our up & comers group this year, making it a formidable task to choose the 2008 honorees.

 

ABC’s editorial committee sifted through the nominations. We looked for two main elements: a proven track record of career success and leadership, as well as a notable dedication to civic and community causes says Misty Williams, ABC Industry Focus editor.

 

Ranked in the top quartile of the country, Shaun Rawls’ offices closed almost $1.6 billion in sales volume and more than 5,000 units in 2007.  What’s more, the six locations have given back more than $1 million to agents in the company through its profit sharing system.

RISMedia and REAL Trends reports highlight most successful real estate firms and Rawls offices land in the top 100

Keller Williams Realty, The Rawls Group is proud to announce that it has been named to RISMedia’s 20th Annual Power Broker Report & Survey. The Rawls Group ranked #79 in closed transaction sides in the Power Broker Report and #66 in Sales out of 700 firms. The survey identifies and ranks America’s largest residential real estate brokerage companies by transaction sides and sales volume. The Rawls Group also ranked #81 in Transaction Sides and #69 in Sales Volume for 2007 according to the Real Trends Survey in Realtor Magazine. Additionally, Keller Williams Realty, Peachtree Battle, one of the six offices that Rawls operates was named on the “Companies to Watch” list. This office opened in November of 2006 and continues to trend upward despite the shift in the market.

In RISMedia’s Power Broker Report, Keller Williams Realty had more offices listed in the top 700 offices than any other franchise brand. The survey also showed that Keller Williams Realty is the industry leader in the support and fostering of agent teams, with more agent teams than any other brand. Keller Williams’s offices also represented 55 percent of offices declared “Companies to Watch” in the industry, with the next closest competitor taking up only 9 percent of the list. On the REAL Trends 500 report, Keller Williams had the second highest number of offices in the top 500 compared to competitors.

Shaun Rawls became the first Keller Williams agent in the Southeast Region in 1999. He now serves as the Operating Partner and Broker for Keller Williams Realty First Atlanta, Sandy Springs, Keller Williams Realty Peachtree Road, Keller Williams Realty Smyrna Vinings, Keller Williams Realty Buckhead, Keller Williams Realty Perimeter North, Dunwoody and Keller Williams Realty Peachtree Battle.
